Chemistry Whiskey Sour

INGREDIENTS –

  • 1 oz whiskey

  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lemon or lime juice

  • 1 oz simple syrup

  • 1/2 oz egg white or aquafaba (vegan)

  • Ice

  • Pinot Noir Reduction

    • 1 cup Pinot Noir

    • 1/3 cup sugar

INSTRUCTIONS –

Combine Pinot Noir and sugar in a sauce pot and over medium heat dissolve sugar and bring to boil, reduce to simmer. Continue to boil until the liquid reduces by half and becomes a syrup, about 5 to 10 minutes.

Add whiskey, fruit juice, simple syrup, and egg white into a shaker, and shake vigorously with ice. Pour mixture over ice in a short glass. Use the Pinot Noir reduction to finish off your whiskey sour cocktail. Enjoy!

THE STORY OF ALLIANCE

Kindled in transition, the winemakers at Stoller Family Estate and Chehalem seized an opportunity to collaborate, allowing the two estate-driven, tenured wineries to further explore. The Chemistry brand was formed from that original bond.

Now, our winemakers are bringing together Pinot Noir from two of the new world’s most acclaimed grape-growing regions: Oregon and California. Superior quality at a fair price.
