Thankful for Pinot Gris

Gobble, Gobble, Gris

Our 2019 Chemistry Pinot Gris, named in Food & Wine Magazine’s “26 Favorite Wines to Pour for Thanksgiving,” is the perfect wine to sip on while celebrating Thanksgiving this year. While the holiday looks a little different in 2020, we’re thankful for food and wine shared with family, friends, or over Zoom.

“Pinot Gris is one of the most versatile wines for pairing with food as it typically has lots of fruit, bright acidity and very low tannin, and our Chemistry 2019 Pinot Gris is a great example. It will pair well with a traditional  Thanksgiving menu as this wine is rich, textured and at the same time fresh. It will compliment roasted turkey, savory veggies, or even a spicy nontraditional Thanksgiving meal like Thai dishes. Seafood like Dungeness crab and oysters with Pinot Gris is a beautiful match. So whatever the holiday menu brings, you can’t go wrong with this wine.”
