World of
Pinot Noir
A rainy fall night, a cabin nestled away in the woods. The warmth of cherry and baking spice fills the room with a finish that is bold and persistent.
A world interpreted by Matt Schu

Inspired by the themes of earth, clay, and fall, I set out to capture the warmth that emerges from dark, damp, and earthy spaces. As I worked, I noticed the ink resembled wine itself–I leaned into that, using flowing, swirling forms to evoke the movement of wine as it’s poured into a glass.
